Emerging Artist Summer Intensive
The Six Degrees Emerging Artist Summer Intensive offers 2 weeks of high level and rigorous training in theatre, film/television, and voice-over performance, taught by working professionals. With a focus on performance styles, technique, emotional readiness, and making smart and specific choices, we push actors to reach their performance potential as we explore the craft of acting. We are committed to preparing our students for success by giving them the confidence, knowledge, and tools needed to be working professionals, and dedicated to fostering and furthering their careers.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from long time working actors and instructors, as well as audition for and get feedback from top industry professionals in a safe classroom setting.
Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 actors to ensure that each participant receives ample time on-stage, on-camera, and on-mic where students learn from peer feedback and performances, as well as their own work through comprehensive and professional one-on-one instruction.
We welcome serious students who are keenly motivated, with a strong desire for a career in performance. A letter of intent is required for admission.

Terms & Conditions
All registrations must be paid in full to confirm a place in class unless otherwise confirmed in writing by Six Degrees.
Refunds will be issued up to 7 days prior to the first day of class minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Cancellations or refund requests made less than 7 days prior to the first class will incur a fee equivalent to 50% + GST of the total cost of the class.
No refunds will be issued once the class has begun.
Six Degrees reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
Scripts and Sides used in classes may only be used at Six Degrees for class purposes.
Actra
Six Performance Academy is open to all actors regardless of union status.
Six has partnered with ACTRA Alberta to offer members in good standing (including those with BG and Apprentice status) a $50 discount on all classes and workshops at Six. Use the promotion code ACTRA50 when registering (please note: this code is case sensitive).
Proof of membership will be required.
Full Alberta ACTRA Members are eligible for a scholarship in pursuit of their educational and/or professional development.
